Made with sand from the West and East Coast and blended with our special blend of clay, this clay boasts a natural, cream-speckled finish that holds the essence of our hidden beaches.
A textural (Cone 6) clay that fires to a stunning off white colour. Excellent plasticity, workability and greenware strength. A versatile clay that is suitable for throwing all sorts of functional forms including tableware. Great for throwing larger pieces. The large amount of grog makes this the perfect clay to throw as big as you can.
Best applications: Great working properties for coiling, slab work, hand building and wheel throwing.
Recommended Firing Range 1170-1300C
