Made with black sand from the wild West Coast. A blend we make right here in our studio, one that holds memories of our family adventures discovering our coastline.
A smooth vitreous (Cone 6) clay that fires to an black and slightly sparkly colour. excellent plasticity, workability and greenware strength. A versatile clay that is suitable for throwing all sorts of functional forms including tableware.
Best application: Good all purpose clay, suited to potters with experience
