The Fred is unique in our collection, a tall and thin piece that is out place in a way, yet makes total sense. A piece that sits perfectly with in your home and collection. The almost architectural design plays with our signature soft curves and the sharp lines throughout the long tall form. Adding height and elegance to a space. When I was born my Dad decided I looked more like a Fred than a Stephen. So from that day onwards I have been called Fred. Along with countless other names, but that’s for another day

I have struggled to find a piece that I felt suited me or to be named after me. Until now that is

Meet Fred, a form I have made and destroyed for almost 2 years. Never finished or fired it, never felt it was right. The Fred is awkward in a many ways, a standard known form yet unique.

Please note the sizing as they are very different to our other forms. Every piece is hand made, size and shape will vary slightly.

Wheel Thrown on the Potters Wheel: This stunning vase is formed on the wheel and bent and moved by hand to create the stunning waves and curves

Authors Special Blend of Clay: Made using a blend of East Coast and black sand from the West Coast to create a very unique finish

Water Tight: Glazed with a simple clear gaze and fired to 1220 degrees to ensure the vase can hold water and keep flowers fresh
